Now, Forward, Half-Pace: #ROW80 Round 2 /#12WeekYear 3 Midweek 4

 Hi there, ROWers and friends!

It’s Wednesday –time to share my Week 4 Action Plan (Here’s my End of Week 3 progress).  I’ll share my End of 12 Week Year 3/Quarter 1 evaluation on Sunday, in its own post.

Will You Help Me Get to Know You Better?

My goal is to provide you, my readers, content you want to read, and will find value in.

To that end, I have some questions. I’m posting a couple each Wednesday – feel free to elaborate as much as you like! =D

  1. What is your favorite book?

  2. Why do you love it?

  3. What’s the most recent book you read or are reading?

Next Wednesday, I’ll share my answers to these questions, and bring you a few more.  Until then, please drop your answers into the comments, and I promise I’ll put them to good use. =)

In other news – there’s more black than I’d like on this update  – I’ve been focused on a few specific projects, and on helping Noli adjust to our home and her new life.

What are you adjusting to, in your life, this week?

  1. Despite all that continues to go on as you adjust to the many changes in your life, look at all that progress! I did like how you reached out to the reader (asking what content you want to read). I can now confess that even as I also struggle with how to make my check-ins to ROW80 more streamlined, the result feels more like a checklist than analysis (which I do on my daily check-in and chart in a Word file. So, figuring out what readers really want remains a mystery to me, and I ‘m interested in what you discover.
Re favorite book, aargh! Way too many. I especially like the writing of Ken Follett (historical fiction extraordinaire) and whatever research I’m working on. For fun, I’m currently reading GB Williams Locked In (a gritty thriller, lovely escape). Congratulations on your progress for April’s NaNo. I finally started drafting my current project!!!!! Make it a good week.

    1. Thanks, Beth. I love when you come by, because you always bring a clearer perspective on things than I get from being in the midst of them.

I’m feeling better about my progress today…I have something of a plan for the rest of the month, and some new ideas simmmering that are pretty exciting.

Hooray on beginning the drafting process, and thank you for answering my questions. What I learn will translate into some changes here, and determine how I approach the webiste I’ll be creating within the next few months, as well as what writing I focus on moving through the revision process and marketing.

  2. Favorite book? Favorite. Book. What an impossible question. 😉 As for question 3, I read Shameless by R. G. Alexander yesterday, an m/m erotic romance. And I’m listening to(does that count?) The Untamed Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley, a historical romance.

Looks like you’re making some progress this week.

    1. Harder for some of us than others. =) Thanks for answering the 3rd question – and I would say that audiobooks count. =)

It’s one of those weeks when nothing is going as quickly or smoothly as I hoped, but there is progress, and that’s much superior to a lack thereof, so I’m content if not truly satisfied.

Take a chance! Type something in this box, and see what happens! =D
