Succession of Consequences

“Earthdate January 28, 2150; Rocky Mountains:

I’ll soon initiate my studies into seismic activity, stratigraphy, the pharmaceutical properties of certain microbes in the treatment of carcinoma, and the predatory habits of puma concolor, the cougar, as measured by telemetry.

I have acquired samples of iron pyrite, and am studying the technical aspects of the explosion of Challenger, an early human spacecraft.”

T’Pol pauses, looking out the window of the modular unit. A snowdrift obscures her view; the tempestuous weather reminding her of a blue-eyed human, a forbidden excursion, and the succession of consequences that brought her here, to Yellowstone.

Will T’Pol’s investigations be fruitful?

Why is she reminded of a blue-eyed human?

What was her ‘forbidden excursion’?

How did it lead her here?

Any guesses?

    1. As another blue-eyed human, can I pretend you mean me? =D

And agreed wholeheartedly on those forbidden excursions. They can take you to places you never imagined!

        1. My mother is a dark-eyed brunette; my father is a blue-eyed brunette. My two brothers were always brunette (the younger with red tones), and my sister and I were VERY blonde as children. Three of us our blue eyed; younger brother has hazel.

I married a blue-eyed strawberry blonde. Miah is about as fair a blue-eyed dark blonde as you can get *he literally glows in the sun – no joke! Lise is a darker blue-eyed, red-toned brunette.

          Genetics fascinate me.

BTW, as a kid I fantasized about brown-eyed babies, but my love isn’t packaged to help me with that – and I’ve come to love blue eyes on people I love. =D

          1. Ha! My mom is brunette with brown eyes, my dad is blond with blue eyes, oldest sister is a redhead with brown eyes(I think). Middle sister is blonde (not sure of eye color), and then there’s me. She actually used to get asked if we all had the same father(answer was yes)
Daughter’s hair is a darker blond, but the boy’s is really light(he looks almost exactly like pictures of my husband & *his* dad when they were both little).

          2. My son was so blonde as a little guy that I could always pick him out in a group as the blondest. I really thought Lise would be blonde, but she surprised us!

Elijah was a dark redhead with blue eyes – but might not have stayed that way….impossible to know.

Take a chance! Type something in this box, and see what happens! =D
