“Put Your Eyebrow Down: #StaD May; Day Three

For Story A Day May, Day Three  (click the heading to see the full post with prompt by writer Kylie Quillanan). This drabble didn’t quite cover the entire prompt, but I have an idea for expansion that will make nifty use of the rest of it…and I’m kind of itching to write it!

Standard disclaimer. I don’t own them, I don’t profit from them, but they insist on telling me their stories, so I’m sharing them with you

Put Your Eyebrow Down”

“There’s anatomical logic to ‘Mr. Pointy’. I also understand ‘That Perfidious Vulcan Bastard’, despite its inaccuracy. However, ‘The Doll Maker’ is incomprehensible.”

“Put your eyebrow down, Soval. Vulcan hearing confounds human privacy. This kerfluffle’s a side-effect.”

“Your platitudes are insincere, Maxwell. You’re troubled.”

“You’re right. I’m in a waterfall of raw sewage, and I don’t even have a bog roll to my name.”

“Would discussion prove helpful?”

“Maybe. I’ve got a promising officer with a wolf-pack on his tail, howling for his blood.”

“He faces accusation from multiple individuals?”

“Yes. If he’s guilty, I can’t grant him clemency.”

Who are Soval and Maxwell?

Who are they talking about?

Is he guilty?

Any guesses?

I am myself. I own my life, and live with three other people who own theirs. My intention is to do only those things that bring me joy, and to give myself wholly to those things I do. Writing has been my passion throughout my life, and this will become the home for my writing life...because it brings me great joy!
