North Pearl Street, Albany, New York: Skywatch Friday for March 3, 2017

It’s Friday again! The end of the week seems like a perfect time to take a moment to look up at the sky, so I offer you a preview, just in case this post finds you somewhere where you can’t just stop and turn your eyes upward. A scroll through these images should hold you.

I took these images shortly before Christmas 2016, during my visit to the First Church in Albany, New York, which I shared in my last post. It was a cold day, but sunny, and with a festive feeling in my heart that was bolstered by the soaring serenity of gothic arches and stained glass, not too cold to take a walk just a short way up and down the street from the parking lot beside the church, and capture a modern, somewhat-gritty-yet-still-somewhat-stately modern city that grew up around its Dutch roots…which, if you look closely, you might still find beneath a December sky…

So, how about you?

I am myself. I own my life, and live with three other people who own theirs. My intention is to do only those things that bring me joy, and to give myself wholly to those things I do. Writing has been my passion throughout my life, and this will become the home for my writing life...because it brings me great joy!
