Ah, Power….#JusJoJan Day Nine

Welcome to Day Nine of Just Jot It January, where the prompt is: power.

It’s been an odd day for power:

  • One of my two laptop adapters may have died. Or not.

  • While doing errands, the car refused to start. A jump from an accommodating small businessman put it right.

  • Our bedroom isn’t connected to our house’s central heating. It is drafty. It’s been frigid outside; our infrared heater wasn’t close to making it comfortable. My Accomplice brought in a small backup, and flipped the circuit breaker in our room in the middle of Criminal Minds, right after dark. Yeah, that was a little bit creepy! I’m happy to report that after he cleaned the heater filter, it’s getting more comfortable in here.

  • It’s not ten PM, and even with the moon nearing full, I’m running out of power. Might be the effects of a highly creative mind, or the energy-sapping cold, or the crazy-busy week I’m in the midst of….

And that’s about all the energy I have to power through this post.

Writing has been my passion throughout my life, and this will become the home for my writing life...because it brings me great joy!

  1. losing power during Criminal Minds would definitely be creepy. My imagination would definitely take off running with that…and not necessarily in a good direction. 😉

Take a chance! Type something in this box, and see what happens! =D
