“What’s Inside?” Teaser Tuesday and #LoIsInDaBl Day 16

“What’s inside it?” asked Wilbur. “Eggs?”

From Charlotte’s Web, by E.B. White, page 145.

Bee’s Love Is In Da Blog post for February 16 was to post a Teaser Tuesday post from a classic love story. This is my first time with this hop, so here’s a bit more about it from Daily Rhythm.

Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I know Charlotte’s Web isn’t most people’s idea of a love story, although it’s definitely a classic. I thought of Atlas Shrugged, The Thorn Birds, Bright Flows the River, The Prince of Tides, and Lady Chatterley’s Lover, but I don’t have easily accessible hard copies of those.

Then I had an inspiration – I live with children, after all, and we have many childrens’ books still in residence. My first thought was The Velveteen Rabbit, which is my personal favorite, but I encountered Charlotte’s Web first. It was my son’s favorite story, and his favorite movie, when he was about seven. He’s fourteen now, and, after I opened to the random page, he chose the sentences I shared with you.

Author:

I am myself. I own my life, and live with three other people who own theirs. My intention is to do only those things that bring me joy, and to give myself wholly to those things I do. Writing has been my passion throughout my life, and this will become the home for my writing life...because it brings me great joy!

    1. My boy knows me well. When I told him what I wanted him to do, he agreed skeptically, and commented, “I’d like to see how you’re going to turn THAT into a Trip and T’Pol story!” =D

Take a chance! Type something in this box, and see what happens! =D
