Do Not Open Until Christmas: The IDIC Romance Advent Calendar Bonus Gift

Advent header new

Merry Christmas! May it be filled with love, laughter, sharing, and so much joy that it flows out from you and embraces others.

As you may know, I’ve created a special Advent calendar. It’s as non-denominational and doesn’t stop on December 25 – and it espouses the concept of IDIC – Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations.

Each day I post a flash fan fiction story. When folks comment, I add a paragraph, and share them two days later – until yesterday, when my Night Before Christmas poem took up all the space! So, I made special arrangements, given the date…and, soon, your new paragraphs will be here…first, though, a bit of business to tend….

Enterprise Advent 25

OK, briefing time:

  • Spoiler zone ahead! Don’t read these posts if you don’t want series spoilers, or even spoilers for other parts of The IDIC Romance, because things will be revealed, and I don’t like spoiling…I’d much rather delight.

  • The base art for the calendar elements of this post was created by Annalise S. Burton, and is used with permission and compensation.

  • I don’t own Trip, T’Pol, or the franchise that conceived them. These stories are offered as a gift, without expectation for any compensation. Of course, comments, rhapsodizing ramblings, and honest feedback of all kinds are always welcome!

LOOK! Santa brought six more PG-13 rated paragraphs of Never and Always”, and, since it’s after midnight, you’re free to open them at will!

So tear into those wrappings, and….wait -just one more minute. You’ll need a bit of context for this one…in the wake of tragedy, Trip has proposed, and T’Pol accepted, with a few Vulcan twists. Trip put a claddaugh ring on her finger and kissed her –

OK, NOW you’re ready to read!

“Careful, There, Pepperpot”

She made a soft sound, and seemed to melt into him, her body and her scent making it very clear that a kiss wasn’t going to be enough for her. In only seconds, she was tugging him urgently down to the floor, as though she’d forgotten that she even had a bed…

Well, he’d known since the beginning that her desires weren’t subtle – and not all that gentle, either…

Hey, careful, there, pepperpot,” he yelped, as she pushed him back, apparently not even noticing that he still had an arm in a sling. More than anything else, that told Trip how deep her pain and anguish went, because, usually, she was very careful of the fact that she was stronger than he was – he always got the impression that she was holding back –

Not now, though.

She seized him, almost snarling – her words were gone, now, and there really wasn’t any point talking to her; she was instinct, now, pure and simple, her mind clamoring wordlessly for release –

Her next grab caught his injured arm, and Trip cried out sharply as he felt the knitting bones snap again. He gritted his teeth as she stared at him, eyes dilated, sweating – and needing him in a way that was anything but human.

Will T’Pol stop?

Can she?

Will Trip survive his engagement night?

What happens next?

Well, for that, you’ll need to wait a bit! For those celebrating Christmas, may it be merry! If not, may your Friday be joyous! Either way, you can read more of The IDIC Romance Advent Calendar here!

The video is a bit saucy, and may not be suitable for all holiday festivities….

I am myself. I own my life, and live with three other people who own theirs. My intention is to do only those things that bring me joy, and to give myself wholly to those things I do. Writing has been my passion throughout my life, and this will become the home for my writing life...because it brings me great joy!
