Penultimate Reflections: September 20, 2015

Round Three is all about reflection, for me: where I am, who I am, where I’d like to be, and who I’d like to be when I get there.

Have you ever had that feeling of suddenly realizing something’s nearly over, when it feels like it just started?

My mind’s not wrapping around the idea that Round Three is just about over. I feel like I’m in the middle of so many of my goals – surely, there must be another week or three tucked away that we forgot about, right?!

No?

Well. OK, then…

I’m not adding much in the way of new goals, and, since these are for all of September, I’ll stick with them till the end of the month, and see where that carries me. I’ll update my Round Three Progress on Sunday, then my September and 2015 progress the following Wednesday/Thursday.

I’ll be posting my Round Four goals on Sunday, October 4.

  1. I honestly don’t know what happened to this round. It flew by. So much has happened–a new house to settle into, a new class to teach, etc. I’m not as far along with my writing goals as I thought I would be, but I’m fairly satisfied with the progress I’ve made.

You balance so many goals each round, Shan Jeniah. And you always make great progress. Congrats!

    1. Thanks, Erin. I’m torn between thinking that I’m going to be greased lightning after my computer issues are resolved (getting closer; getting closer…), or that I’m going to be utterly flummoxed by not having to constantly be adapting and tweaking things to work more or less the way I’d like them to.

I’m eager for the chance to find out.

Right now, things aren’t moving as swiftly as I’d like, but I am doing things I value, and that’s really the point of living, isn’t it?

Hope to see you doing what you do next round! =D

Take a chance! Type something in this box, and see what happens! =D
