Romantic Reflections: August 19, 2015

ROWing toward an important day…

Round Three is all about reflection, for me: where I am, who I am, where I’d like to be, and who I’d like to be when I get there.

The forward progress continues, on several fronts. With next week the final week of Ready. Set. Write!, my focus, for the rest of the month, will be on wrapping up those goals – or, if not, coming as close as I can before the month ticks over, and we ROW into the final days of Round Three, here.

It’s also my anniversary week, so my mind is focused on connecting, remembering, planning, and dreaming. It’s been a mostly wonderful eighteen years – and, during the inevitable difficulties that come in any life, and any marriage, there’s no one I’d rather have at my side or my back…

OK, enough mushy stuff…on to the raison d’etre of the day…

This photo from the Sterling Renaissance Festival, 2009, is one of my favorite candids. Can’t you just feel the joy?!

Reflections: Looking in on the carousel from outside. One of my requirements for a spouse was that he must be willing to ride a carousel with me, at least once. We rode the carousel in Missoula, Montana, in 2000, and he even caught me the golden ring! =) This is the Congress Park Carousel in Saratoga Springs, NY.

I am myself. I own my life, and live with three other people who own theirs. My intention is to do only those things that bring me joy, and to give myself wholly to those things I do. Writing has been my passion throughout my life, and this will become the home for my writing life...because it brings me great joy!

    1. Yup, my Accomplice and my girl are tight. It’s been that way from the morning she was born, and I was taken to another floor for recovery, and he was with her, all that time.

Watching him with the kids as they grow is one of the most beautiful parts of my life.

I’m at that point in this week’s goals where several things are in progress, but not much has been finished, and several things are still waiting for my attention….

But things are moving forward, and, in a day or two, things will be further along.

Take a chance! Type something in this box, and see what happens! =D
